Whether you are cruising for the week or the weekend, with a gathering of friends for the day, or just enjoying a day at the dock, the MacGregor 26M will do the job! You will find the interior is comfortable for a group or for a couple!

The sliding galley is the key to comfort.  With the galley slide aft into the “storage” area it opens up the main salon of the boat.  There is a big long comfortable settee on the port side, you can sit 4 or 5 people here or take up the whole settee when lounging and reading that great book.  The starboard side has a table, you can sit 4 for a game of cards or breakfast.  Blue Water Yachts offers a split table design that allows you to fold the table in half, this gives you a lot more room and makes it much easier to move around on board without giving up anything.  The table will make into a bed that is very comfortable for a single, or you could sleep two small people.  

The aft bed is a large as a home Queen bed and is very comfortable for 2 people to sleep.  There is plenty of head room if you choose to sit up to read. It is nearly impossible to find this kind of sleeping comfort in any other boat this size.

The Forward V-berth has room for 2 adults, although it would be snug if you are tall.  It works great for 1 adult and 1 or 2 small kids, Cheryl has tested this sleeping arrangement with her 2 grandkids snuggled in for the night!  Stories, Stars, and Fun!!!

The Head may look small, but there is plenty of room to do your business.  We have tried not to waste extra space where you only spend a few minutes a day, better to have more room in the Salon and Galley where it is much more useful!  Blue Water Yachts offers a Porta-Pottie with a larger holding tank (good for families), as well as the option of a flush head with holding tank.  

The Galley is big enough to store your cookware, water, and other items.  Blue Water Yachts offers a Butane single burner stove.  Butane is very clean burning, very hot, very quick to boil water.  Much faster and cleaner than the Alcohol style, and much easier to start as there is a switch not a match!  When not in use the Butane stove has a nice cutting board top that is flush to the countertop.  The galley includes a sink and hand pump water.  

Interior Colors and Fabric are done in nice warm tan and beige colors.  To control complexity and cost, there is only one color option, so tan it is.  The neutral color scheme lets you decorate the interior with nearly any colors you choose!  We have seen pillows, blankets, curtains, etc. All kinds of colors, this really personalizes the look of the interior.  Our boat was decorated in pirate black and gold.  The choice is yours.
